Mohammad Neazur Rahman joined as Commissioner of Customs, Customs, Excise and VAT Commissionerate, National Board of Revenue, Bangladesh on August 14, 2023. He is a highly accomplished and professional civil servant with an experience of 20 years in both the central and field revenue administration.

Having a diverse administrative broad-based knowledge and experience, he joined the Bangladesh Civil Service (Customs & Excise) on 23 May 2003. Prior to assuming this post on August 14, 2023, he was the Commissioner of Mongla Customs House, Bangladesh.

In his academic attainments, he realized his Bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET). His Alma Matter also includes Faujdarhat Cadet College.

After joining the civil service, Mr. Rahman took part in different training programs that encompasses Foundation Training Course, he also attended in different negotiation meetings, workshops, training and seminars. Mr. Rahman Visited UK, Japan, China, Soviet Russia, Singapore, Thailand etc. Countries for professional excellence.
